Power out upper HPP
#1
Straight up 3pm, first time in a couple of weeks.

I am so much more like I am today than I ever was before!
I don't know how I got over the hill without getting to the top.

Does anyone remember the days of HELCO's "rolling blackouts?"

The albizia are starting to bloom, and as I recall, there always seem to be more dropped limbs during the bloom, probably the spring flowering brings an increase in weight and water content in the limbs.

It was out in Hilo also. That's a pretty large area. No clue.

Could have been from the roadwork. It seems sometimes they need to shut off the main power for several minutes, although if this was almost island spread for 15 minutes, raises many questions.

It must have been a patchy outage, at about that time we were in Hilo at the tire store, Hilo Burger Joint, and Target and no outage, no sign of one when we got back to HPP either.
