I left this astral plane back at the "end of the Mayan calendar." (which was unaffected by Y2K)

As long as we stay in Puna and dont go to Israel or even Syria, it will be a interesting site to see tonight ... if it isnt cloudy.

I see a lot of high clouds piling up on the mountain... gypsy69 has the right idea.
Hale Pohaku might be another good spot if the clouds aren't too low/heavy.

I got to see the total solar eclipse of 1991, even though it was kind of cloudy, and no solar eclipse can compare.

Only three more chances to see a blood moon this year and next! Get them while they're hot!

I was in Waijoloa for it and unbelievably it started to cloud over the eclipse... We did see a bit of it but who would think clouds and rain in Waikoloa! I also got a postmark because the Kamuela PO was doing eclipse post marks for that day only!

The biblical scholars I've heard aren't predicting the apocalypse. If I remember the gist correctly they are saying that when you have the four lunar eclipses in a row, all occurring on certain Jewish holy days, it is a sign of a momentous event affecting Jews. Past momentous events affecting Jews are supposedly associated with the past similar tetrad(?) astronomical events that occurred on the holy days. There may be some predicting an apocalypse, isn't there always. I don't necessarily buy into any of the predictions. I don't have the resources or drive to do my own research and I don't trust what anyone says, I guess due to my background. We shall see.
