I confess, I am a textile junkie.
I've been sorting out my stash and have two large bags of mostly cotton and rayon fabrics to move out of my life. Some yardage, some scraps, a little Hawaiian fabric. I did toss out a bunch of worn and faded fabric and tiny scraps, so what's left isn't too bad.
Free. Did I mention it's free?
I can meet you somewhere at some time--
for instance, on Tuesday 4/15 6:30 pm-ish I'll be at the Keaau Senior Center for the Water Garden Club meeting, could pass it to you there...

I am a textile artist and would love to have your fabric. I am a textile junkie too. I had to get rid of a lot of fabric before I moved here from the mainland but did bring a few boxes of my stash with me. I mostly use my own hand dyed fabric but do use some commercial prints in my work. I work Monday - Thursday and it is hard to get out on those days as my hours are a little erratic. What neighborhood are you in? I am in Hawaiian Shores.

I passed along about 200 lbs of fabric when I moved here, but have managed to accumulate more.
I'm at the top inside corner of Hawaiian Acres (near Roads 1 and G). I'd be happy to have you come by, but it is a bit of an effort to get here, that's why I offer to meet somewhere.
I will be in Keaau from about 5:30 (dinner at Lemongrass, meeting at the senior center 6:30-9) tonight--let me know as soon as possible if you will be there--I tried emailing you through the forum, but it bounced, maybe you can email me? Or post here and I'll check before I leave.
Otherwise, we can set up another time and location.

Carey, might be easier to pick up the plants from your house than make you load them in your car, transfer to mine, 5:15ish OK? or leave them out where we can grab them.

how to recognize me; I'll be with a group of 4 people, some may be wearing water garden club tees, I'll have a couple black garbage bags of fabric, and probably wearing sparkley sequin shoes.

I will have on a purple shirt and jeans and probably be with my partner, he will most likely have a baseball cap on. I, too, will be holding some fabric.
