Here comes the rain... Flash Flood Watch
#1
Were in for a wet few days!

Flash Flood watch is on for all islands.

I can feel it in the air!

Other news sites are reporting that it's coming in.

Satellite pictures are looking gloomy!

And the worst part of all... the Huli Huli/Steak Tip sale is off[^]

One of the best sites for all of the Central Pacific GOES data that I found is:
http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/trop-epac.html
from this page you can choose your view & type of view, including looping image streams...
Forgot to add:
one of the fun things is to watch as the different data layers are loaded.... esp. the birdey like ones....

Right now this is the most interesting loop:

I'm starting to feel like a TV Weatherman... Wrong [B)]

But I have the feeling it's coming and the Big Island Civil Defense hasn't taken down their Flash Flood Watch Message.

Looks to me like the east side of the big island is the only area that will be rain free. The Kona side is getting the rain this time!
