If you have need for boards and electrical parts for gensets and propane refrigerators these guys are great. I am working on representing them and will be a stocking dealer for parts here in Hawaii - pm me if you have, tech questions or a parts need, or order online.
My shingle for small engine and genset repair will be out as soon as I finish the shop - a week or two me thinks.

And in which part of the island will your shingle be hanging? Do you do housecalls?

The shop is in the Mountain View area, another couple of dry days and the roof will be on. Ill post the numbers when the roof is up
My flight Systems territory is state wide so I will be doing the rare service call and phone support for the techs throughout the state for factory parts and boards.
I will also travel for repair of large generators locally. However the big service van gets 10 mpg and is no fun to run. Best to start with an email or save the travel time and costs by dropping it off.
I will take in any size genset. 2 stroke, 4 stroke and diesel engines to 15 hp lawn mowers to outboards - honda, omc, cummins, perkins and onan certified . Will talk fiat 124’s, Jag v12s alfas etc (have Jag/gnition/electrical/relay spares on island) or anything marine.
Also have refrigeration tools on hand for most models. We speak norcolds, servel, consul and other propane amonia fridges and service the norcold boards.
In the meantime Email is a good place to start – send the brand model type and serial numbers so I can review the schematics. Very often gaining an understanding and pointing the owner in the right direction is enough to get the lights on or get me close enough to the target to pack the Toyota or carry on.
I have also consulted on system design and load analysis for off grid systems. Having lived off grid mobile and stationary for twenty years gives pretty good insight as to both needs and wants.
open to trade or barter - Seeking 5 panel metal roofing 8' or better for a car port at the shop
