Can any one tell me if Alupag will grow in lower HPP? If so where can I get one and how do you start it. The web is real lite on data on it. Will a cutting start it seeds?? Does Plant it Hawaii have it ?

Bill, The Kona Experiment station of UH has an alupag that was started from seed.
FruitLovers in Pahoa does have it on their seed list: http://www.fruitlovers.com/seedlistUSA.html It can also be grafted onto a longan rootstock... Hope this helps your quest....

I am trying to start with a seed but the net said they only last a short time. The ones I am trying were about 12 hours old. No life yet. What is a short time? Any way I would like to start with a plant. By the way the Coninga is doing great I am about to cut it back for the 3th time. I have one that wants a plant so I will start a cutting.
