I have a couple roofs to do for an ag building.
Does anyone have recent experience on pricing metal roofing?
Or
IF anyone has extra metal roofing about I am looking for
13 pieces of 36" x 16' in any color.

Did you try Craigslist under material. There was some brand new.

I overheard, at HD, that the new place where Pierson's was in Shipman Industrial Park (next to Emmas) has good prices.... haven't checked it out, so take it as rumor

The good prices are a whopping .04 cents per linear foot chaper than HPM, as of two months ago.

Rob - do you care if the color matches on all the pieces? HPM occassionally have slightly damaged or wrong color tin in their boneyard. Argus had some also but I dont know if he still does any.
Are you looking for just Pattern 8 / corrugated? or one of the ribbed?

I've heard you can sometimes get good prices for over runs at HPM if you aren't picky about color or pattern.
We just scored a bunch of galvanized good used tin from the transfer station yesterday. Not as long as the pieces you are looking for but enough to replace an old shed roof we have which has more holes than metal left.
Are there any old buildings coming down somewhere that you could get old tin off the sides of?

I checked with the HPM bone yard. Nothing there at the moment.
I decided to do some temporary roofing, plastic sheeting and just be patient till I can acquire some recycled stuff.
Thanks for all the input.

There's a guy who sells used roofing in Hilo,(he's also a roofer) and did advertise regularily in the hilo trib/herald in the classified. I think under items for sale and i think his name is Caesar. He had alot of different kinds a metal roofing when i bought from him.
