Recommend an Architect
#1
Hello all, I am looking for a recommendation for Architects in the Hilo area, I have drawn up the plans of what I am going to build and need an Architect to finish the details and put a stamp on it.

Thanks for your help

I would recommend you talk to Daniel Bona, a designer in Hawaii.

A lot of people here (me included)used Robert Smelker.
Usually a drafts person draws the plan ( in my case it was 10 times cheaper then the architect I found)and then the drafts person goes to architect to put a stamp on.

Robert Smelker, Robert La Tenser, Ray Kuening (AE/SE)

I think even Valerie Simpson (?) is still around in Hilo.

Yup, Valerie has an office over by Bayfront. The other side of the block that the Palace Theater is in. Ray is my first choice for architect/engineer services.

Ray is in the phone book but his name is spelled Keuning which makes him hard to find when it is spelled like I did the first posting. Otherwise, the phone number is: 982-6895
