THANK YOU!
I normally call my mum in Washington state to send back super hoppy beers like Triple IPAs from Gravity BEER market, of course she doesnt send me any because that is illegle. I miss having a medium sized stored that ONLY stocks beer. We need a beer market here on the BI.
Anyways thank you for posting this. Just picked up a 6p at Malama Ocean view and am enjoying one now in a frosted mug. Their pale ale used to be my fave, that was readily available. Big Swell IPA from Maui Brewing company is my fave but at $10.99 a 6 p, I dont get to enjoy it much.

that brewery is wonderfull but I am talking about a store that stocks 100s of different micro and foreign beers.
On a sad note, as quick as that great IPA entered Hawaii It dissipeared. I looked all over Kona and everyone seems to be out. Reminds me of their Bif Foot Barley Wine style that realeased a month of so ago. It was around long enough to pick up a six pack then it vanished.

KTA featured a line of beer last week from Deschutes Brewery (Bend, OR). Three versions, I bought the "Mirror Pond Pale Ale"...excellent! Miss these brews some times. My recent trip to visit my son in Seattle had me weighted down with all their wonderful brews, had to try them all, heavy stuff though.
I want to like Mehana but it doesn't measure up (for me or DH).
Same price as Fire Rock, not zingy enough.
This triple IPA sounds good.
I've tried Mirror Pond and it was pretty decent.
Island Naturals sells Red Seal from North Coast Brewery in Fort Bragg, amazingly enough.
Costs too much but it's nostalgic to have one now and then.
