scanners and checkers
#1
being at the wally world for fudge stripe cookies, dog food and milk ... I realized walking out ... I had been double scanned - again. Only (cringe) about 50$ - this time still a lot of cookies nonetheless ... seems to happen a lot here there everywhere. I cant say it happens on purpose... but for some reason the odds of it happening on island, in my opinion, much greater, feels just like a hand reaching into ones wallet.......

Im a convert ... now checking tapes after each transaction...

What do you mean, double scanned? You were charged double for something that cost $50?
I'd like to know what to watch out for!

glad you have converted! i ALWAYS check the receipt. can't say that i've been double charged, but over charged has happened on occasion and at various stores.

Some stores will give you the item for free if it is scanned wrong.

One item of cookies that costs $50?! Watch your teeth on that gold plating.

He has an 80# Golden Retriever Paul... my guess is the $50 item was dog food.

By the way Bullwinkle. I always knew I liked you and now I am sure. I had a 15 year old golden die in my arms last year. She was my consummate buddy and pal for all of those years. She was white in the face and wanted to please me till her dying breath. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel also misses her greatly to this day. While we kept her bed, Valentine will not lay in it still, she lays next to it instead just like she did with Django (the golden.)
