Yep, been there- again and again. Perhaps not on par with some we've experienced on mainland, but never been disappointed here with the quality of the food or service. Usually get there before dinner hours when shrimp and scallop become available, but at extra cost. While I can get my $$$ worth, wife doesn't, so lunch prices are better option for us. Owners are nice and trying. Enjoy.

if it's like the original one in Honolulu, it should be screaming. You pick the meat and the ingredients/condiments and the food is then prepared in a giant wok for your enjoyment! I know over the years there have been quite a few knock off of the original "Mongolian Barbeque". Hopefully thesepeople will do it right?

It's pretty good food and a good value if you know how to work it. Bear, myself, and some friends go there regularly.

We like this place, too, especially if we're really hungry for a big lunch. As was mentioned, the lunch prices are better unless you can eat like a horse. ;-) Nice fresh food, cooked while you watch. Great service, too.

I had my first Mongolian BBQ in Taipei in 1967 and it spoiled me for life (I think it may have been the mutton that did it). Whenever I go to Vegas, I stay at The Orleans for a number of reasons, which includes a Mongolian BBQ as part of their buffet. Nothing too special, but for about $7.00 you can stuff your face with a choice of serving stations which include American (ribs, corn on the cob, turkey, ham, beef, potatoes, gravy, crawfish, shrimp) as well as Mexican, Chinese, and Italian (their pizza alone is better than anything I've had on this island, and is worth the price of admission all by itself). The Mongolian offers a choice of beef or chicken only, and your pick of veggies include sprouts, peppers, onions, garlic, small whole hot peppers, broccolli, and mushrooms. Not great, but very good.

I love this place and eat there every chance I get to go to town, but I do have one big problem with it - I don’t know how to tip. We usually leave $1 each in the jar at the grill but then, do we tip again at the table? There is a wait person who brings water and soup and rice and may check back a time or two, but does that rate 15-20%? Is $1 for the “chef” enough. I go out amongst ’em rarely, have never been very smart about tipping, and am totally confused by this situation - can anyone offer some simple guidelines? Mahalo!

We always tip 20% of our total tab, you can split it up if you think the cooks won't get any, but it's just easier to put it on the total at the end. Usually the establshment has a method of splitting it all up. If 20% makes us look cheap then we can't afford to go out an eat anymore, which we do rarely anyway. We do intend to try this place next week. Hopefully it will be as good as the reviews on PW.
Enjoy the day! Ann
