Does anyone posting know why John Weber is no longer a Hawaii County Police Officer? He was Police Officer of the year in 2007. Went off to Oahu to receive awards, golden boy couldn't seem to do anything wrong. Between then and now he has disappeared from the roster of Hawaii County police. The buzz is that he was perjuring himself to get search warrants. The reason we need to know now instead of later is because Jay Kimura may know this, and is still prosecuting our felow citizens and keeping the bad search warrants mum, hoping no one will ever find out. This could cost us lots of money down the road and it is costing people in Hawaii County much because of false prosecution. This another reason the political atmosphere stinks here in the Louisiana of th Pacific.

He is alive and well, left the PD for family reasons. I saw him at a ranch up in the Northwest, he has about 200 acres, on a lake, and horses really nice place. Says he is retired, he won some kind of poker tournement was a good chucnk of change. I told him I saw your post, he said he knows you Del, and to tell you hello and not to worry what your hearing is far from the truth and rumor started by a couple of mad drug dealers and boss at the PD he don't get along with.

Shaking, Doesn't add up. He was Officer of the year in 2007, then demoted to patrol in Puna which left a pothole in his career. People I know are far from mad drug dealers. Some laweyers have the same impression about activities committed in our name by Jay Kimura and some others in Hilo. John should not be calling people names. He barely squeeked by when he shot the man who only broght the knofe to the gunfight in Puna.

The reason Vice Officer John Weber left the island is because he's got 100's of civil suits against him. He's he falsifies information to get warrants, tampers with evidence and lies in the courtroom. He's "busted" over 200 families for medical marijuana, (which is supposed to be protected). As a buddy of Hilo's prosecutors he's gotten away with it for a long time, but now moved to Idaho to do the same thing because he's bound to get caught here. I don't know if your famaliar with the decriminalization of marijuana bill that just was accepting testimonies, but one of these testimony's are just one example of one case he was in charge of. Check it out:

Del first, I asure you he was not demoted, he was never promoted so how could he be demoted. He has no potholes, he is one of the highest decorated officers and had one of the highest case loads ever in vice. John is a good guy, was given a mission by the police department to bust marijuana dealers and thats what he did, with a fury like nobody before him in two years he turned the marijuana world upside down. All tose crazy allegations made by those people at the county council were investigated and found to be false. These is no barley squeeking by its either yes or no and it was no. Del he speaks highly of you and said you were a good guy. The man moved for his family that is it, they can investigate and say what ever they like it will not change anything. Ms Boejangles you are crazy there is no 100's of lawsuits, and there was 200 hundred families busted maybe more but not one of them was a medical card holder with 7 plants, they were are breaking the law and delaing dope. I bet if the council payed his way he would come back and tell them anything they like he has nothing to hide.

Don't be so touchy Shaky. By demoted, I mean he was taken off the "special duty" and put back on patrol. That didn't last very long. Now he has left and anyone who needs to subpoena him has to pay to have him brought back. Convenient for the prosecutor.
John Weber didn't know me well enough to know what kind of person I am. I don't know where that is coming from.
200 familires disrupted sounds a lot like what MsBoejangles is saying to begin with. Those are families we live with as neighbors. Having goon squads swoop down and use their homes as playthings, throwing personal property out second story windows like frisbees, groping teenaged girls and terrifying young children, is not what we as law abiding citizens want. No wonder the police choose to call it a "war". Sounds more like how the Serbs treated the Croats.
Your loyalty to Weber is commendable, but you are giving us a second-hand accout. If Weber himself would speak up and go on the record it might be more credible. After all the taxpayers of this country spent maybe a million dollars to train him. Maybe we should know what we got for our money.

Is it not okay for someone to make a life change once they become an officer? Its seems like everytime an officer leaves, poeple want to think somethings wrong. The 200 was a joke yes he did hundreds of cases, but they were drug dealers look at the amounts recovered on those warrants they were not user quanities. As for those goon squad acusations they are being made by the people busted, it happens all the time people are mad they get caught and try and shift the attention off themselves. Maybe the county should treat the employees better to keep them around longer, or maybe it does not matter how much money they spent, thats a risk that happens in any company you hire someone and they move up or move on to better thinhs, does not have to be a reason. And if that happens regardless if the person was trained by county or the public has no reason to know. Did you ever think maybe he left Vice to spend more time with his family, or get ready to move. And if someone has to pay to bring him back to testify, thats the nature of the beast he does not owe his life to that county. Sometimes the county just takes and takes and gives nothing in return. The bottom line here is the guy moved on to bigger and better things and prior to doing so was a extremely effective enforcer he did his part and did it well, its pretty funny that he is not even there and he is still fmaous.

Weber reminds me of Tom Coleman in a lot of ways. Both were made officer of the year then were forced out when what they had done became known. The ACLU in Hawaii is talking with the Hawaii families and neighbors as well as other witnesses in these cases.
This type of thing is not unusual and happens all across America. There is going to be litigation with all sides having there say. The truth will be coming out and Weber will be vindicated or convicted.
As for being famous that's left to be seen it may be that he is actually infamous........
