I realize that so far it's a small group of people occasionally swapping their produce with each other on "scuba" Sundays.
Is it possible to sell it to other people? Get more people to participate?
It's probably will be space/permits issue, but who is enforcing rules in Puna?
(Being naked in public is illegal.Welcome to the Black Sand beach..[

Well,I didn't mean to ruin scuba Sunday fun and used it as an example.
But since there's no response I am assuming that people who have extra produce already made some kind of arrangements.

There's always the Swap Meet in HPP (Makuu and 17th, at the HPP Office) every 2nd Saturday of the month, 7am-11am.
$6 for a table, $3 to set up outside.
Next one is this Saturday.
If I had an oversupply of produce, that's where I'd take it.

Thank you,rbakker.
I didn't know about Saturdays. That will work for me because I can not do it on Sunday.
Thanks a lot!
Just wondering - is it the most popular market on the area(Hilo ,Keau)?

The Makuu market (on H130 n Sunday) is huge, no way the HPP one is bigger.
I've never actually been to the HPP Swap Meet but I intend to go this week.
So no guarantees about what's available!
Maybe Jerry Carr can give more info about what gets sold there...
