Well then, that makes you non-respectful of the local culture. Calling you "uncle" is a sign of respect. I have a number of my kids' friends, who are locals, who call me "uncle". They respect me.

That's true- my attempt to get into the spirit of the 1st post didn't go over. Though good thing I was corrected here. you wouldn't somebody jumping off the boat and punching out somebody for calling him uncle- at least they can't blame me now I hope.
