Lettuce
#1
I planted mesclin mix in my trustworthy hydroponic set up before I left for New York nearly 6 weeks ago. Much to my dismay, upon returning I had a sad and scraggly crop of something unrecognizable. I bought new seeds today and will try again. Sheesh... is nothing easy these days?

hit the floor each morning, the devil says

"Oh Crap, She's up!"

About 8 weeks ago I planted a lettuce mix (not mesclin) in part of my raised bed. Four weeks later I planted another section with the same mix, right next to the first. The first batch is rather sad with very low germination and poor growth. The second is great with high germination rate and has outgrown the first batch. I have no idea why.
