Help Please - Tutoring

Hi:

My husband and I are going to move to the BI Puna area this spring and are looking for the best way to locate good tutors for our 3rd grade twins. They both need some expert help in both math and reading. We will be home schooling them for at least a year.

Information about what we can expect to pay would be helpful too.

Any information about quality tutors in the area will be appreciated. Thank you!

Your best bet may be to contact either the Pahoa Elementary School or one of the local Charter schools such as HAAS and ask for their recommendation.

Or you might contact other homeschoolers and see if they have any recommendations. There's a Yahoo group: Big Island Homeschoolers, and I know there are a few others around too.
