CoH: More expensive consultants
#1
Sometimes I get the feeling that county officials love to hire high dollar consultants because they have hopes of being high dollar consultants themselves someday. Quite a number of former officials have done that.

Anyway, Today's Trib has an article where Dominic Yagong is protesting the hiring of yet another consultant to study trash management.

I agree with Dominic. More so I and getting more and more incensed that the county spending on high dollar consultants and outside professionals continues unabated while tax rates are being raised.

Maybe it's just me.

Yagong: Garbage study a waste of time

No Rob, it's not just you. I wrote a letter to the Editor about this a few weeks ago. I read the same article in the West Hawaii today. It's ridiculous how this administration is wasting money.
Oh! No! Wait! Didn't they just raised the property tax? OK then, there is money to waste.[Sad][Sad][Sad]

dont forget about the massive amount of short term treasuries they are sitting on... only psychopaths (yes i said it) desire and crave the power that government gives them, that is why it is always these types that end up there. government is based on the consent of the governed. i for one dont consent to any of this.
