I would appreciate any feedback if someone has or had this water heater or some other model of this brand.
Or if someone researched or took a look at it and has a good idea about the unit.

StillHope,
Why are you asking? Is a post on Punaweb your first go to research tool? Have you checked reviews on Amazon.com?

I heard another opinion from a plumber. But unbiased one would be from a current owner who is not selling it):

a pair of ecotemp L-10's here. Well worth the 200$ ea I paid for them - I have 2 years on this set same d cell
a bosch aquastar at the other place, what a gem, well worth the 1k$ Big 2 shower at a time ... steady reliable performer - never have to fiddle with the knobs to get the water just right - not the case with the L-10's
L-5 at the cabin - good for dishes small enough to mount over the sink - little small (output) for showers

Thank you for posting,Bullwinkle.
I looked up L-10 .From what I am learning it might have the same combustion system as the more expensive line of tankless water heaters.
Or at least it is more closed on the top.
L-5 has a huge opening -more prone to shut offs due to the wind.
Do you have no problems with L-5 in windy weather?
BTW,it looks like 5 or 10 stands for he amount of hot water (gallons)?
If so,what does it do after you use up all of it?
But how is it possible (it's tankless)?
