Hawaii information sevice listings
#1
Whats up with this website? Until recently you could look at real estate listings and get lots of info and pictures, but now it seems you only get one photo and no street address. You have to be an agent to get more info? Why the change? Am I doing something wrong?
With the poor market it seems they should be showing more info on properties for sale, not less!

What web site are you referring to? Punaweb has never carried much in real estate listings and no photos.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Sorry Rob i did not mean puna web site. I meant the real estate web site hawaii information service. I have been using this site for the last 5 years and now it has changed its format to a new and virtually useless design.

Maybe it is just down for maintenance for a time, I've checked in recently and all was well.

For quite awhile now, whenever I try to go to the Hawaii Information website,it redirects to Aloha Living.com. They have changed it somewhat, but now, it will give you almost all the info they used to. However, when you try to get the TMK info, now you have to be a member of MLS, I believe. Bummer! I used to be able to pull that info up just by signing into an account I set up without being a member of MLS.

They have changed the layout and function of their web site several times over the last several years. This latest iteration is by far the worst, although recent tweaks have improved it. Or maybe I am just learning how to use this version.

Hawaii Information and Aloha Living are the same. They came out with a new version of the web site last Monday. I don't know what they changed on the public site though, since I only use the agent's site that I pay $70 every month for. Hilo Brokers buys the data from MLS but they don't display all the information.

Thanks everyone,I went back to aloha living and Jerry is right, after some careful box checking you can get some photos of propertys but I still think the old site was way easier to navigate.

Newer is not always better in some cases of web design.

I usually used Clark realty http://www.clarkhawaii.com/moving/ or the one from ADR http://www.adrhi.com/big-island-hawaii-real-estate/ because it lets me save a list of favorites to watch. Peggy
