Can you tell us what the water temperature is? Also what will be the cost after the first two weeks? Who is teaching the class and what are their credentials? Mahalo.

18 people attended the first water aerobic class today. The class is taught by Casandra, one of the life guards at the pool. I don't know her credentials but she said she has also taught a regular (non-water) aerobic class. Right now the water temperature is about 80. The cost for the class after the free two week trial period will be $15.00 a month. Casandra asked us to bring empty water or gatorade bottles to Wednesday's class to use as weights.

Thanks SandyS for the information. Is Cassandra offering the classes as an employee of COH or privately? Who does the $15/month go to?
What sized empty water and Gatoraid bottles? Is there a direct contact/link for this information rather than put you in the middle? Again, thanks.

Lokahi, You could try to call the pool at 965-2700 to have your questions answered or better yet just show up a bit before 9 tomorrow (Wed.) morning to sign your waiver and ask Cassandra yourself. If you give the the class a try and it is not what you are looking for you have nothing to loose and don't have to stay for the whole class or come back. She did not specify what size bottles. They are to be used as weights so I guess it would be up to each person to decide what they could handle. I don't think I'm ready for the gallon jug size yet!(LOL.) I am just so glad that this class is being offered as I had enjoyed a similar one for years before our move to the island.
