RoadRunner email down?

Anyone else having problem with RoadRunner email account being unavailable..."cannot find the email server"???

My Road Runner e-mail is inaccessible also at this time. It seems to be a nationwide issue.

I'd like to correct what I previously wrote. There is a major outage at Road runner's regional data center in Southern California. This is causing e-mail digital phone outages in SoCal and Hawaii, along out net outages in SoCal.

Many of the subdivisions have cable - at least in the easiest to get to areas, generally at the front of the subdivision where the buildout is heaviest.

@mdd7000...I have Road Runner email service through Oceanic Time Warner and live in Hawaiian Shores Recreational Estates in Pahoa.
@ Aaron S...and you know this because? I logged onto Road Runner Self Help through Time Warner Cable at approximately 8pm HST and was #255 in queue for help...with a message "we are experiencing higher than usual service times. Please wait and an analyst will be with you shortly." At this writing I am now #55 in queue. Someone has a warped sense of "shortly"! Thank you for the information and hope OCTWC can resolve their problem(s) soon or consider reimbursing us for our lost access.

Time Warner will credit you for the lost service -- just that they prorate your bill for the time you had no service, which is not much money, little in proportion to what you may have not gotten done ... still, they are good about it.

Everything breaks once in a while.
They used to have an option where they call you and you don't lose your place in line. They don't always offer it.

some of the la papers are going off on tw - guess they had trouble getting the word out - poor phone bank response etc.

I dont use the the hawaii rr email - was told they will not forward once you end service or change email addys - always a pain, not forwarding a nightmare - - I just use my third party emails instead, very portable

Lokahi, I know because I know. Nevertheless, seriously another forum I participate in mentioned extensively about this outage.
