The previous topic reminded me that the movie "The Tempest" was released on Friday. There are scenes that were filmed at McKenzie State Park and also up on the Saddle Road among other Big Island locations. We saw them filming up on the Saddle Road a couple of years ago....so it took awhile for this film to come out. It stars Helen Mirren and Russell Brand.
I doubt it will be shown in Hilo. But, remember it, as it could be a fun Netflix selection down the road.
