Feb 6th----Feb 13th??

Anyone know whats going on in Hilo/Keauu area from Feb 6th through the 13th? We have to return to the mainland on Monday the 14th[]

Bands, events, whatever. Certainly we'll be at the Makuu market for part of Sunday the 13th.

Chinese New Year Festival Feb 12, starts at 10 AM - Downtown Hilo.

Scuba Sunday at Richardson Beach. It is an aquatics day for the whole family. You don't have to know how to scuba, in fact you don't even have to get wet. Just a fun day of being at the beach with lots of people from Punaweb and the local dive shop. It is also a potluck so if you can make it, bring something to share. There is usually a grill or gas stove on hand. The odd thing about Richardson Beach, the weather is usually warm and sunny. We've only canceled SS one time in almost 5 years for rain! Last month we had a couple of very light showers pass over but just huddled under the pop-ups for a few and went on with the fun. SS goes from about 9:00 to 3:00 or 4:00. Hope we see you guys!

Makaha Sons are scheduled to play at the Palace Saturday evening, the 12th. Wonderful Hawaiian music concert, always very reasonable. It costs far more to see them on the mainland.

FOOTBALL??!!! You let a football game rule your life!! LOL! I don't follow it and forgot that it was on the 6th. Well we'll have to see how many complain about it.... Maybe bring a TV and generator? I've got plans for a antenna that will pick up digital signal... Hmmmmmmm I'll have to look into that for the "die hards"!
