FTR Proposal at Ways & Means - Passed!
#1
Most everyone should be familiar with the fact that a bill is in the legislature which would enable funding for maintenance of private subdivision roads from taxes paid on gasoline. HB 1626 submitted by Faye Hanohano.

This is the last Committee hearing and it is a big one. Ways & Means. The Senate and House count support. It matters. Help Puna and help yourself and testify....The hearing is this Friday.

Please testify now. No need to write lengthy letters, you can if you want to but at least go to this web site and click on "support" and "send".

More information, including language of the bill is located here:

Aloha all: Just sent off my support letter. One must do a little more than just click one button, but it is fast and easy, and as Rob states above, your voice is heard and heeded.

It doesn't get much easier than this ... no need to labor over what you are going to say (if you don't want to) ... just activate the link and follow the simple steps. It makes a difference ... and can Puna ever use some financial support to help maintain the roads in our subdivisions!!!
