anyone know of someone who does sewing machine repair on this side? not discount fabric warehouse, you never get to talk to that guy or discuss your machine. there used to be a guy that advertised, but havent seen anything in a few years. thanks!

There is a great guy in Hilo - I think his name is Mike, and I think the shop is Mike's Sewing Machine Repair, on Kawili, maybe? I got his number from Kilauea Kreations.

I took my machine to Elton in Mamo Mart 969-2004. Very satisfied w/ the price & service.

On Lanikaula between highway and Manono, little strip of shops that includes bakery. Quoted $59 to do a service on my old Viking.

Rang's vacuum and sewing machine repair is on Kinoole, his ad on Big Island Chronicle says he repairs all make and models, plus you get a discount if you mention BIC.
