The double pink Hibiscus (flower) can also be used for tea. It imparts a lovely shade of pastel pink to the infusion and can be mixed with other herbs and/or spices.

I'll be even more clear:
If you're standing in front of the video rental place, look to your immediate left, Fresh Farms is next door, same building. Used to be a hair salon. If you step off the sidewalk in any direction, you've gone too far. The decline and fall of Downtown Mountain View is really unfortunate.

I did get to stop in at Celia's shop. Nice little place! I did get the red zinger and also one of those large planting pots. I planned to put strawberries in it, but I may do purple sweet potatoes too. I hope everything goes well for her business, I'll be stopping there a lot!

I have used any of the mints, such as lemon mint, chocolate mint, pineapple mint; also tangerine leaves, mamaki, allspice leaves, keffir lime leaves, lemon thyme - alone or in combination. All available in my 1200' elevation garden.

Fun talking story with you Jean & co. I have some more zinger seeds for ya. Eric, all culinary herbs are great for tea, even roses! Just be careful where and how you plant mints and balms they extraordinarily invasive.

I grow my mints in hanging baskets, which keeps them from spreading and puts them at a comfortable height for harvesting.
