Think about back in the 20's/30's/40's... multi-generational housing was the norm not an exception.

As our parents age, and our kids cant afford housing, I hope the trend of MGH returns. I think it is good for the grandparents, and good for the kids.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. It's not really the amount of people, it's the way the people are living here that are using up so many planetary resources. It is definately a "less cash based economic way of looking at things". Right now, things are just out of balance. WE need cash to live in the system in place, but the cash is concentrated in a generation that is normally valued for things other than cash.
