I found out what it was.
Kind of solves a mystery, really.
I noticed my Raisin Bran was a lot lower than I left it the day before.
Turns out geckos have been eating it (I caught one red footed).
Now, the geckos love hanging out in a palm tree that shades part of our lanai roof.
Well, the rain came down so hard it scared the **** out of the geckos up in the tree!
Kind of surprised me how loud those little hard b-bs can be on a metal roof - actually had to turn up the tv so I could hear it...
....true story!
