Thank you, Aikahimomma!
I just scanned Glenn's thread.Though entertaining,Glenn's posts sometimes get overwhelming...
It's like going to concert. The songs are great, but once in a while the entertainer gets on the stage ...People love him and he is good. But sometimes you just want go to to the cafeteria until the next singer..

Is there some sort of prize that I'm not aware of that makes people pissed that I post so much stuff?

Why don't people post more subjects and quit complaining about the Hawaii related subjects I do post.

(Sorry Rob...gotta ask)

Yes, I understand, you as well as other PW members must be overwhelmed by some of my posts.

I try my best not to offend anyone. If I do offend someone by the topic I post, I'm sorry. We all have things that may bother one person or another.

So once again Rob, I ask... what is the value of having your "post" on the front page when you have "choke" pages to view?

I mean unless your posting bogus viagra adds or something. [8D] (joking and hopefully you understand this)

Damon, as the subject of your posts becomes a topic of its own I can observe this:

Everyone's point of view is legitimate. You have most closely adhered to my 'keep it Hawaii' intentions for Punaweb. That is fine. I did get concerned recently with the daily number of posts and emailed you about that.

Your news items are always relevant but I can see how members might not like news tidbits as a steady steam. It's a bit like reading stories to your kids. The kids love the time and attention. Adults will find it cute at first and then increasingly annoying. So those who are complaining are legitimate and those who support are also correct.

I am finding a need to police the archives some and delete a number of these news topics as they fade. Makes work for me. I don't need to archive the daily news. Newspapers do that. But it is not ruining my day or anything.

Lastly I suggest that when any one member becomes an aggressive poster it does tend to inhibit others. But in general you have adhered to the forum rules and I can't condemn that. But again we do have a developing situation where the member becomes the topic. That can be avoided, It's a matter of shear volume.

I like Ben Franklin's good advice: All things in moderation.
