From what I have read fish farms fundamentally alter the ecosystem they are put in. Don't remember the details, but in general the large amounts of fish waste and having one species concentrated in an area is not conducive to protecting the area. Given the sad state of our coral reefs, seems like a bad idea. The longer I live hear and learn about this history of these islands, it seems like a series of one terrible environmental decision after another. This one is just the latest
