I have a suggestion for your service. Why not offer access via FTP as well? I would be more likely to use it if I was able to FTP my files up.

with ftp you can run your own client... I cant show you an advertisement.

There has to be a tradeoff, for unlimited storage, looking at (maybe clicking) Ads to pay the bills. Smile

I am considering several things:
offer API access to the system
offer FTP access to the system
offer WEBdav access

I am working on some software for these ideas but none is in production yet.

upload away!

808blogger - sorry, I originally didn't see any ads, but then I generally run Firefox with the Ad Block Plus add-in. Those still on dial-up should use it. (HINT) By blocking the ads before they download in the first place, it speeds up your access to pages.

When I first tested your site, I also tried IE and Chrome. Then, I saw the ads, which I will admit, were very unobtrusive and not excessive by any means. Just a single ad over on the left side of the page and thank goodness, no attempts at launching pop-ups either.

people smart enough to run adblocker Smile are fine by me.

yes 1 ad, no pop ups. trying to keep a clean look.

Others have tested with IE, etc (i run linux so i have tested with chrome, FF, opera, and epiphany) they all work fine

chrome has 1 Javascript issue I am working on which the "copy link to clipboard" option.. chrome does not like the method used to do that Sad
