though i have yet to go to this new restaurant vietnamese food is unique and wonderful. start with the spring rolls then go with pho.
my dad always did seafood soup, i did just you're regular pho. some of the noodle dishes like the cold vermicelli with beef and shrimp are great. though all this was on the mainland. so here is some links to these dishes...

oh, and make sure you add you're condiments. the basil, bean sprouts, jalapeno, lime, hoisen sauce, sriacha. all good and enhance the flavor of pho.

Today my wife and I went back to The Pho Cafe in Pahoa. She made us a special Banh Xeo (rice flour crepe with pork, shrimp, sprouts and onion) served with lettuce leaves, cucumbers and mint with a special Nuoc Mam (fish sauce). It was truly wonderful! This is not on the menu but she does a great job with the Pho, Bun, Hot Pot and Vietnamese Coffee. This is my newest favorite restaurant.
Please try this place...I want her to succeed!

Beef wrapped around lemongrass and char broiled, usually over rice noodles and veggies. Don't forget to dip it in the fish sauce.
