We have a futon in our ohana from the old J & J Hardware....the mattress has gotten raves from our guests, even from my Mother in law who has had back surgery... (it's not spring, but a built up composite)...
This info may not help as they are no longer at the old location, but I was just told during the holidays that the furniture & futon part has moved into that little shopping center off of Keawe St. in Hilo, just beyond Haile, the one with Bueno Burrito .... also was told the old Teak Bali place that was on 11 ha an internet presence out of Keaau...haven't check either, but both were good places in their past...
