Bringing this forward as a reminder...
If you are planning a lava hike during our current "Kona" weather PLEASE be extra vigilant -
2 hikers have suffered from heat related exposure over the last two days. The hiker on Tuesday morning died from heat exposure & yesterday the HFP had to rescue another hiker that was suffering from the heat....
That lava field heats up to oven like conditions when we have the current weather pattern & you must be prepared for it!
