Big Island land appreciation
#11
I think the last month stats I got showed Puna land prices are still pretty much near the bottom, while house prices in Puna are inching up are are land prices in most of the island. This is probably the best time to buy land in several years. i know in Seaview, the lots that have been selling have been at mid 2004 prices.

Trueism I was taught by the old farts was not to buy land until ready to build and improve.

Own both a lot and built out .... There is a difference in tax rates for starters that would tend to support the trueism

I am so sorry! It is mauirealestate.net, and not mauirealestate.com that has the sold data. It is at the bottem of the page, if you click on a specific listing.

They are valued, some good farm land others not. I "appreciate" the land.
