If God didn't want us to eat animals then why did he make them out of meat?

if there is a demand - why not slaughter the dogs put down daily by the humane society?

weird argument in my opinion - 'cant eat them because we like them - but its ok to gas em and sell the bodies to labs or of dump them in a pit.

If the bill is passed it will not stop the killing of dogs and cats for food, but it may help with prosecution of people who steal pets for food.
Some of the groups of people eating dogs and cats have been known to take pets from their owners homes and cars, they are especially fond of well taken care healthy pets!
The animal rescue group I helped with in Kona, were able to rescue a few, but people were never prosecuted as they claimed they found the "strays"
