When are the votes getting counted for Orchidland?
#81
Don't get too excited yet about potential paving. They also worked scraping the sides of the road on upper Laniuma and recent paving there is in pretty good shape. Lower Laniuma is chip seal similar or worse than Orchidland Blvd. So I think it's volunteer or road maintenance. Grateful though that they did cement the river run on 34th. Think new paving is pau. I too voted for the $300 but abstained on the $150 as in my dotage (72) the ballot confused me. I would have been okay with the $150 assuming that it would have materialized into road work/maintenance/gravel side roads. We can always dream on. Happy Solstice everyone.

You are right that the ballot was horribly confusing. I might have considered and voted for the $150, but the way it was presented, no way.

New white markings along the shoulders and orange marks in the middle of the road appeared on Orchidland Drive today, running from 37th down to 130. Another sign of impending paving?
