10-4 just depends how much $$$ you want/have to spend, there is some real good stuff out there, the links just get you there, they have some hi def/zoomers, most are not going to spend a fortune on video equipment, so between the two of us we have provided some options ,have you seen the Uncle Sam security systems ? I like the one in .308.....

Electric fences are made to deter not kill. It is not big stretch of need in an agricultural area to have electric fence. Not only does it keep your critters in it keeps unwanted critters out. They make zappers that are extra good for the fast growing plant life of the rain forest.

What is wrong with even combining it into your security system? Of course you have a need to know what kind of critter is trying to get in.

The next thing is Fire Alarm can be a part of the Security System. The two are kept separate ordinarily but hey out on the farm we do things a little different. It would not be that much more to go from a nice light for photography to the strobes and alarms of a fire alarm system.

As a deaf man I am a bit familiar with the technology of signaling. A bed shaker can easily be added to your fire/security/deterrence system to quietly bring you to full alertness before strobes and and or noise alarms go off.

There is an infinite variety of ways to work this idea without getting into the zone of trapping and possibly killing thieves.
