BTW, Im sure every single cop in Puna KNOWS exactly where that well known popular tidal pool is...

so no police report?? no records in newspaper... obviously NOT serious enough to make the news IMO

and what type of attack.... dog? mosquitoes? rape? tita beef?

and I see the assume the worst at first then shoot CC gun kooks (aka fistless pussies) have spoken now too... Youre in Hawaii now, not a brainless tard in Tennessee or Texas ...try for settle your beefs w/o that BS! thats why we have Gun Laws, so we dont become a 'Texas'

A gun advocate quoting Martin Luther King; Now that's interesting.....Do you suggest that if MLK had an assault rifle, he'd be alive today?

Snorkle, I would say MLK answered your question with his quote.
BTW.... WTH is an "assault rifle"?

How about when he said;

"Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars."

Or perhaps MLK really meant to say;

"Judge a man not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his Magazine" [Big Grin]

edit; BTW; An assault rifle is a selective fire rifle that uses an intermediate cartridge and a detachable magazine.

I'm just curious where these so called "assault rifles" are available. It sounds as if you're describing my old M82 and M16 military issue rifles. I wasn't aware such weapons were available on the civilian market. Who is selling those these days? I thought such weapons sales were illegal by federal law and had been banned since the 70's. Gee wiz, I had no idea military weapons were being sold today in Hawaii... the ATF needs to bust those stores right now! Tell us who they are!

You can still get full auto but only those that have been in the civilian marketplace for many years (since 1986 I think). They are very expensive (Start at 5K for an old Sten and 16K for a M-16) due to that increasing rarity and you also have to buy the Federal stamp which I think is $200. I remember seeing Stens for $200 (plus $200 stamp) 25 years ago but I didn't have any use for one or $400 to spare. Only wealthy collectors are buying them now. Silencers have been proliferating recently but you need a Federal stamp for those too. Those are still being introduced new into the marketplace.
