Eccotemp L5 water heater issue

I have a pair of the larger ecotemps ....parts for my models were available from the ecotemp website .....if I remember right it was less than 30 dollars for both the gas regulator and the electronics on year eight on the rest of the units internals ....

and yes when in doubt change the batteries ....if that doesnt fix it move to wire brushing corroded connectors ...

Yes. Talked to a repair guy and he said to check those things first as it could be a simple corroded ground or batteries. Mahalo.
