World records on the Big Island

I had no idea about this:
"The local area has recorded several other heaviest fruit, Mr Love told West Hawaii Today.

Local farmers currently hold world records for the heaviest jackfruit and soursop, a fruit that occurs in the American tropics, and a local farmer also once held the record for the heaviest mango, he said."

Yes, that's some Avocado!
We used to live Mauka Captain Cook, and would collect "road kill" Avos every day. Some were pretty ugly and dented , but I have never tasted
better Avos than those old trees (not hybrids) bear! I love it when my friend comes to visit from CC and brings a few of those beauties!
