Here's a dinky / quiet inverter generator on Amazon that will ship here in the ~$200/range. I don't know anything about it, just wound up on my "suggested" section when I was on Amazon:

They have them on sale again today only with shipping to Hawaii. It is a slightly more expensive parallel model for $199 "Parallel power output terminal can increase output when chaining units together with a parallel power kit (sold separately)"

Go to the service desk at the Hilo store and double check with them. Many items that "Can't be shipped" according to the website can be shipped directly to the store.

It ships to Alaska / Hawaii
Most of the "Daily Specials" items will ship to Hawaii if it comes from their California warehouse. So you might get a $49 ceiling fan in one color ship here and in another it doesn't. It depends on which model is in their CA warehouse. We bought an outdoor sofa from HD "Daily Special" that shipped to Hawaii for free, but some other small items on that same page would not. Just depends on what warehouse it's in. There are some Daily Special items that are in their CA warehouse that wont ship here for whatever reason... some part of that code can't be cracked. You can get them here if you order in the store at the customer service desk but you'll have to pay higher CA sales tax when you do it.
ETA: As reminder when I bought the generator before it said it wouldn't ship here if I added an extended warranty, but would if shipped with standard warranty.

The DC power freezers so outasite. Must be tariff victim like the one on display at HPM. But at least found a combo wall charger/car charger plug on amzn for$10!
