Building with wood? "You might wanna..."
#61
Interesting walls... let me try to describe. In the showers, a triangular shaded wall that houses the shower controls. In the kitchen, 5 short (40"tall) walls set at angles to form the "curved" counter, external fireplace facing, range hood duct chimney. There are pics.

wow it looks like the possibilities are pretty much endless, as long as you have a creative mind, ok so are you going to sheetrock these walls or go you have some thing else in mind. I only ask as it seems that the bugs and moisture love the sheet rock?
there has to be a flexable material out their, since I am thinking of doing some half walls and full walls with more curves, picture almost a letter S laid on its side, so I would need a flexible material to cover the metal studs, other than using sheet metal and taking a grinder to it to give it texture, and am not sure I want to go that modern in the look of a sheet metal wall, although doing an acid wash with metalic salts might give it a more old world feel.

any Ideas?
