Yeah, me too. I bought a used MacBook on eBay for my daughter for $600. It had some problems and it had Apple Care support. So I called support and within a few minutes they had FedEx on the way. Nice deal.

Just curious,what's going to happen if I use XP professional recovery CDs on the same type of the laptop with Vista ?

if its the same model and all, they should wipe the system and install XP.
I suggest you backup any data on the system that you want to save before trying.

Somehow the dual boot Macs aren't perfect with the Windows XP. There are a bunch of people on the mainland who are trying to run the Light O Rama software (the software that I use to synchronize my Christmas lights) and they are having a ton of problems. It would've been easier and cheaper for them to buy a cheap eeePC for $340 that is loaded with XP to run the Light O Rama software.

The Laptop that runs vista the fastest: Macbook Pro...hmm, You want a choice in OS? MAC is the only one.
