Jonathan, when you purchase your container, tell them first thing that it must be certified for sea travel. I don't remember the exact term. Hopefully you're in a major port city, because that'll afford you many choices for buying your container. If you're going out of the SF Bay Area let me know & i'll give you the place I got my container - great price, came with sea certs & hundreds to choose from.
