If the lava would take a good long break, I would love to buy one of those lots for a camp. Quiet, no lights and lots of stars. It would be a great getaway spot. I would never build anything I couldn't affort to lose to lava or vandals. Oh well!

BTW, how many people have voluntarily abandoned their lots to the County? How much tax revenue is now gone as a result? Anyone know?

They still have to pay the minimum tax on them, or there is a tax lein placed on those lots.
The county is not at this time accepting responsibility for any of those lots (Condemning them).
