I saw a counselor for about 8 weeks after my mother's death. The first few weeks I spent crying out all the "stuff" I needed to process. It was a good experience and so healthy. I still feel an ache in that empty place when I think of Mom, but it's not something that goes away completely, perhaps. Anyway - she lives up above Hilo Hospital and I would be happy to share that info. if you want it, Carol. Be well.
