Sorry, PT, but it has to be said...
No Tommy, it does not. It's just (purely) your need to say it.

It is my belief everyone is waiting for the Supreme Court ruling.
The "protectors" will simply refuse to abide by any ruling that does not favor their cause, at which point another ring will be added to the circus. If that happens, tour buses should be reinstated, so they can drive slowly by the "camp" as if it were a museum diorama: "these people think they can turn back the clock."

Add some of pahoated (09:49:06 9/23/2015) and opihikao (23:47:15 9/23/2015) and you can begin to see what's actually going on. Context and history is everything.
As far as "conspiracy" is concerned, it should be pointed out our jurisprudence makes conspiracy a crime in and of itself. That has surely caused uneasiness in some quarters for many reasons over the years.

The camp is gone, why are people still talking about the camp? In review, the state is proceeding very steadily. They clarified the legal definition of illegal camping and jurisdiction has moved to DLNR, rather than UHH. Some really despicable Punatics have been calling the state response weak and pitiful because the state doesn't move to their diseased brain time perception. The state is moving at this pace to cover any legal loophole that this particular group will immediately start using. Also, the visitors rest stop is a big success for the county, now that it is family friendly. Again, the same sour Punatics wonder why the county would take on a run down state park, not remembering the Inouye highway has only been open a couple years. It is so strange how some Punatics are so sour and rage-hate filled envious of areas on this island that are really improving.

Hope your comment about the State methodically covering the bases is correct.

Diseased Brain Time Perception
Good name for a band. "Our songs aren't long. They just seem long while you're listening to them."

the visitors rest stop is a big success
Were the Saddle an Interstate, it would include at least one rest stop, probably at the same location. The second one would probably be near the new runaway truck ramp. The state is moving at this pace to cover any legal loophole The current legal actions were intentionally delayed (how clever) to lock-step with the preceding 7-year process -- all these "potential loopholes" should already have been raised and considered. If they work it right, construction can probably be delayed through the upcoming Presidential elections...

The camp is still there. One tent has been removed. Please stop making stuff up. |
