OK, so we were returning from a gorgeous late afternoon at a nearly deserted Shipman beach when a completely nude walker passed us on the trail. First my husband said, "that reminds me, get some chipolatas at the store". I'm sure that went by anyone who could have heard (for full effect, say Vienna sausage next time), but he thought it was illegal to walk naked. I said the cops would be busy at Kehena each weekend if that were the case.
Then, we get back to parking lot and half a dozen fire and rescue workers were there, strangely with climbing gear(ropes, calipers). I said the rock wall is not that high, but does this have to do with the nudist?
Any information on an odd Tuesday out, even by Puna standards, greatly appreciated....
