I wouldn't take medical advice from well-meaning amateurs. You may end up poisoning yourself.

Yes, I agree. I never go to the Doctor.

Yes, good one as well, but your doses are high. They found results with 1500mg.

Becareful taking more than 2000mg if you have diabetes because it will raise your blood sugars.

Against medical science now too? Methinks you're just a contrarian.

The World Health Organization recommends 45mg a day. Megadosage is unproven.

I was in an accident at work a few years ago and doctors want me to take lots of legal narcotics for pain that damage your heart, liver and kidneys, but make me take a pee test to make sure I'm not using the natural stuff for treating the pain from my 5 herniated discs.

We all know green harvest has created an ice problem in Hawaii. What's worse, eating pizza and napping or having a life like this:

I am not against medical science. If you read my posts you see that I use their research.

If you had a password to these sites, like I do, maybe you would not say ignorant things.

And the name-calling starts. You must lead a frustrating life.

ETA:
From one of the links you provided:
"Safe doses of vitamin C are less than 1000 mg daily, and vitamin C daily doses above 400 mg have no evident value. "

1) You did not read the other links.
2) Where did I call you a name? I noted that what you said was ignorant, but I did not call you ignorant.
3) You cite my article that proves you were wrong about 45mg.

I am careful with my words.

Yes, maybe this part or the world is not right for me.links

1) The first is a chiropractic website. It's obvious you know nothing about medicine. One of others requires a password.
Another link provided me with the quote above that shows you are mistaken.
2) Saying that somebody "says ignorant things" is indeed name-calling.
3) 1000mg is less than your 1500mg and more than the WHO's 45mg.

You are not careful with your words at all. Typos, spelling mistakes and faulty reasoning. Try reading what you write before you post it.

Thank you for the well wishes and for the suggestions, advice and links. i am way better than they say I should be. Still young enough to heal well and was in relatively good shape and healthy when I took my spill, so healing at "break neck" speed (pun on words there folks).
Thanks again.
